The Hathaway Family Foundation exists to assist and support both the short-term and long-term needs of the unhoused and most-needy in Upstate South Carolina by providing food, shelter, healthcare and education both directly and through local organizations.

We define the above as:

We support and assist organizations that provide temporary shelters and permanent housing programs to the unhoused and most needy in up-state South Carolina.

We support and assist organizations that provide an emphasis on mental and behavioral health care to those who need it most, in up-state South Carolina.

We support and assist educational programs that help provide individuals in up-state South Carolina with the skills and knowledge needed to improve their overall well-being.

We support and assist distribution programs such as food banks, hot meal programs, and soup kitchens who are committed to helping those who need it most in up-state South Carolina.

It is our shared belief that all individuals should be treated with respect and dignity. We also believe that individuals and organizations should be ethical as well as personally and socially responsible with that which is given.
